About
I've spent a dozen years in product, strategy, and revenue roles across consumer brands and technology — starting out in the Walmart ecosystem in Bentonville, then a stretch in New York, and eventually a move west after an MBA.
I've always been a tinkerer, so when AI started to feel less like a buzzword and more like a real enabler, I couldn't leave it alone. I used an internal project as an excuse to learn it properly — and ended up automating a big chunk of my own job. That was sort of the point: the time it frees up is what lets me go build the higher-value tools and enablements I wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. I try not to take myself too seriously while I'm at it; if we end up working together, that's usually the first thing you'll notice.
Home base
I live in Silicon Valley with my wife and son, by way of the NYC metro and, before that, Arkansas — which I'm told still comes through whenever I get excited about something.
Off the clock
I'm outside as much as I can manage — hiking, cycling, golf, fishing, and skiing, in roughly that order of frequency. I also play on a co-ed softball team… and we're pretty good.
What I'm working on
These days I build AI tooling for the Amazon Devices Energy & Sustainability org, where accuracy isn't optional. Lately I've been especially curious about how far AI agents can go — how much of building, and even running, a small company you might hand to them.
